Education to Children: To realize our vision, we designed Sustainable Non-Formal Education (SNFE) programmes to teach Maths, English and Hindi to underprivileged children. These are the three subjects which makes immense difference in the education as well as personal space. Hence, Lend Foundation has decided to teach these subjects by partnering with UCmas Abacus Maths Education and VETA - Experts in Spoken English and Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha pioneer in teaching our national language Hindi. Each of them is successful and prominent institutions in teaching the students.
Lend Foundation thought that the Mathematics plays a crucial role in shaping the student's academic as well as personal space, we have decided to provide poor children the best they can have which will make a huge impact in their life. Hence, we have exclusively partnered with UCMAS –Tamilnadu and Pondicherry -Authorized by UCMAS India & Akademi Sempoa UCMAS Malaysia.
Project - Lend Foundation & UCMAS - Abacus Maths Workshop
Lend Foundation thought that Spoken English and immediately opens up opportunities regardless of your ethnicity, color, or background. Unfortunately, to the underprivileged children, this seems to be a farfetched luxury to be asked for. We have decided to provide exactly that to the less fortunate children. Hence, to teach them spoken English, we have an exclusive tie up with VETA – Expert in Spoken English, a Chennai based institute pioneered in this field.

Lend Health: Quality and Preventive Healthcare, by far, is out of reach for people living
in urban and rural slums as Health Centers are located outside of their dwelling areas.
Lend Foundation has the vision to reach out to them at their places and provide them healthcare by running Medical Health Camps to screen Diabetes, Thalessemia and Cervical & Breast Cancer exclusively for underprivileged women.
Diabetes: Diabetes mellitus or simply diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced (Type 2). This high blood sugar produced the classical symptoms of ployuria (frequent urination), polydipsia (increase thirst) and polyphagia (frequent hunger). A Study conducted by the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation which was supported by the ICMR suggests that 1 out of 10 people in Tamil Nadu are diabetic. While every 2 persons out of 25 are in a pre-diabetic stage. We would conduct camps to check diabetes to keep it under control.
Hemoglobin Disorders (Thalassaemia): Haemoglobin disorders are inherited blood diseases that affect how oxygen is carried in the body. Haemoglobin disorders fall into two main categories: Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia. Poor blood oxygen levels and blood vessel blockages in people with sickle-cell disease can lead to chronic acute pain syndromes; sever bacterial infections and necrosis (tissue death). Thalassaemia disorder does not make enough haemoglobin in red blood cells. Thus oxygen cannot get to all parts of the body. Organs then become starved for oxygen and are unable to function properly which lead to many health complications.
Cervical Cancer: Cervical cancer is a malignant neoplasm arising from cells originating in the cervix uteri. One of the most common symptoms of cervical cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding, but in some cases there may be no obvious symptoms until the cancer has progressed to an advanced stage. Cancer screening using the Pap smear can identify precancerous and potentially precancerous changes in cervical cells and tissue. 80% of women in the low socio economic strata are at risk owing to the lack of awareness.
